Gambol - A hand played for a good cause…
The 41st Annual GAMBOL, presented by the Women’s Board of UCP was a huge success in raising nearly $200,000 for people with disabilities and those who care for and about them. The event took place on Saturday, October 18 at the Hilton, Chicago. Three hundred guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing, cabaret entertainment by Entourage, casino gaming, cocktails, silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.
UCP Board Member Kevin Burke was honored with the Inaugural Infinite Hope Award, for his 20 years of service and outstanding contributions, that have helped turn hope into reality for countless UCP clients.
Emcee Tracy Butler, (ABC7 Meteorologist), was instrumental in raising nearly $45,000 for Ramp Up through the live Fund-A-Project portion of the program, where guests were given the opportunity to bid on specific home modification projects.
A sincere thank you goes out to the board members and volunteers who dedicated their time and talent to help raise money and awareness for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Chicago.
