Every year, Infinitec Southwest of Tinley Park, a division of United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Chicago, hosts a Holiday Gift Drive benefiting disadvantaged children and adults with disabilities in the South and Southwest Suburbs.

You can help by donating new hats, scarves, mittens and/or coats, gift certificates and even toys for a great cause. You can also adopt an individual and buy a present for a child or adult specifically requested. We are seeking the help of local area organizations, companies and school clubs that are willing to help promote this special drive that helps so many families in need.

The Holiday Gift Drive has been instrumental in giving back to our communities. Help us continue to bring hope and joy to over 1500 children and adults in need this holiday season.

Too busy to buy a gift? You can still help! Monetary gift donations are happily accepted and greatly appreciated. Please click here if you would like to make an online donation.

Feel free to contact us for more information: Holiday Drive Team: Matina Travis (mtravis@ucpnet.org) at 708-444-8460 ext. 230

On behalf of the disadvantaged children and adults with disabilities we serve, thank you for all your help.

Holiday Gift Drive 2006...

Thank you to all of our dedicated and generous donors who continually provide gifts and monetary donations to our holiday drive each year. This was the 5th year Shepard Middle School supported UCP/Infinitec Southwest Annual Holiday Gift Drive. This year they had provided an overwhelming number of gifts for 150 children. When the social workers came to pick up the gifts, they were so appreciative and amazed by everyone’s generosity. For many of the children and adults these were the only gifts they received this year. The generosity of so many individuals, corporations, businesses and volunteers helped us collect 7,119 gifts serving 2,373 individuals.

UCP Chicago and Infinitec Southwest recognize the tremendous needs of families who have children and adults with disabilities. Working together with volunteers and donors, they are working hard to build a community of support. UCP Chicago/Infinitec Southwest wishes to thank all those who participated this year and we look forward to next year’s Holiday Gift Drive.
