Respitality is a program sponsored by United Cerebral
Palsy that gives parents of developmentally disabled children a
complimentary, stress-free evening or one night "mini-vacation"
while providing qualified professional care for their children at
home or other location.
All parents, but especially those of disabled children need:
- time to relax and reflect
- time to spend by themselves
- time to renew their feelings
- time to build their relationship
To qualify for a Respitality evening or one-night mini-vacation,
you must have a child with special need under age 21. Recipients
are entitled to use our Respitality service two times.
If you're interested in applying for a Respitality one-night stay,
please contact Lisa Dyer. If you own or work in a hotel and may be able to donate
one-night accommodations for UCP's Respitality program, we would
love to hear from you! Please contact
us. |
