Board of Directors

UCP Chicago’s first Board of Directors, headed by Hanna Lissner, set the pace for the organization’s energetic, enthusiastic and effective giving programs. In 1952, just a year after UCP’s launch, the board raised $400,000 with a telethon featuring comedian Bob Hope and legendary Chicago newspaper columnist Irv Kupcinet.

Today UCP continues to benefit from the dedication and inspiration of the influential community leaders serving on our Board of Directors.
